Sixty tamariki from Waikanae School have explored te ngahere, the forest. The year 5 and 6 students created art and poetry inspired by the bush at Ngā Manu Nature Reserve.
This is the 13th year Toi MAHARA and Ngā Manu Nature Reserve have collaborated with the support of The Philipp Family Foundation to offer an art and environment project for local school students.
