Kei ‘ea te kōmako e kō?
From where shall the bellbird sing?
Join us at Toi MAHARA for the opening of this exhibition showcasing the collaborative efforts of Atiawa ki Whakarongotai, Department of Conservation, Greater Wellington Regional Council, and Kāpiti Coast District Council in the Mahi mō te Taiao—Waikanae Jobs for Nature project.
The Jobs for Nature initiative aims to enhance ecological health and connection from the Maunga to the Moana and Kapiti Island. It supports the Waikanae ki Uta ki Tai initiative, and has been managed by Groundtruth, a local Kāpiti company, working with Manawhenua and the community on land and conservation management.
Explore how these partners are weaving together the values and moemoeā of manawhenua, agencies, and the community in practical ways.
Please RSVP to info@toimahara.nz
Nau mai, haere mai.
Exhibition runs to 8 December 2024 in Waipuna Toi | Community Space.
